About
**จันทร์ • จีน • เจ | Full Moon Night at Talat Phlu 🌕🏮**
Experience the magic of the Mid-Autumn Festival in the Talat Phlu neighborhood — an evening of stories, beliefs, and Chinese community traditions at โรงเจเสี่ยงเข่งตั๊ว, Talat Phlu, on Friday, 25 September 2026.
The event features a variety of activities: a rabbit lantern-making workshop where you craft your own lantern to hold under the full moon, followed by a talk on the Mid-Autumn Festival covering legends, beliefs, rituals, and the stories of Talat Phlu's Chinese community — all enjoyed over a relaxed cup of tea. In the evening, join the Moon Worship Ceremony led by the head of โรงเจเสี่ยงเข่งตั๊ว, and wrap up with a tour of the shrine to learn about its history, beliefs, and sacred objects that have long been part of the Talat Phlu community.
Those who wish to participate in the ceremony are welcome to bring vegetarian snacks and fruits to join the offering arrangement. After the ceremony, sample "เหล็กเต่ากอ," a traditional Talat Phlu sweet prepared specially for the event.
