This is an international academic conference organized through a collaboration between the Federation of Asian Pharmaceutical Associations (FAPA) and The Pharmaceutical Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage (PAT). The conference focuses on knowledge exchange and discussion of key issues in pharmacy and international health systems, including cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence transforming patient care, the role of pharmacists in telehealth services, and modern applications of traditional Thai herbal medicine.
The event also features an exhibition from approximately 30 booths representing various organizations and industries, showcasing the latest pharmaceutical products, services, and health technologies to promote innovation, knowledge sharing, and networking.
Over 2,000 attendees are expected from diverse sectors, including:
- Pharmacists from hospitals, pharmacies, and specialized agencies
- Pharmacy profession leaders and pharmacy council members from more than 24 FAPA member countries
- Academics and researchers from universities and research institutes, including faculty, researchers, and students
- Industry representatives, including scientists and experts from domestic and international biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies
- Government representatives and public health officials involved in health system development and policy
Past FAPA congresses have been held in the Republic of Korea (2024), Taiwan (2023), Malaysia (2022 & 2020), Thailand (2016), Malaysia (2014), and Indonesia (2012). Thailand will host the FAPA Congress for the 5th time in 2026, having previously hosted in 1972, 1986, 1994, and 2004.
